Cardiovascular Surgery NP/PA

Join our award winning, nationally top ranked Cardiology and Open Heart Cardiovascular Surgical team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant! Servicing a population of over 300,000 people, our nurse practitioner and physician assistant teams see cases flown in from all over the state. This position will work on the floors and the clinic as well as first assist in surgery including vein harvesting.

· 250 bed full service medical center

Team and Scope:

· 4 MDs + 4 NP/PAs

· 40% surgery, 40% Floor, 20% clinic/office

· 46% vascular, 37% cardiac, 17% thoracic

· Surgery days begin at 6am, office days begin at 8am

· Call coverage is 1/4 of the month, available by phone but rare for call-backs

Compensation:

Based strictly on experience, new grads can expect a base around $100,000 while those with 30+ years can expect up to $170,000. A more accurate projection will be provided for your specific experience based on resume review during your preliminary phone interview. 

· + $10,000 sign-on bonus

· + $5,000 relocation allowance

· + $2,500 + 1 week CME allowance

· + 401k match, full benefits, & PTO

· + DEA, license, and malpractice paid

Requirements:

· Licensed as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with surgical experience

· Unrestricted license 

· Experience First Assisting in OR required

· Experience with CT patients required

· Vein harvesting experience preferred

· New graduates with requisite exposure welcomed to apply
